Master by Research
The Faculty of Business & Communication offers research-based master’s programmes across business, communication, technology, social sciences, language and humanities. Candidates undertake focused research under academic supervision and contribute new knowledge through a rigorous thesis.
The multidisciplinary range of fields enables candidates to develop advanced research capability, critical inquiry and specialist expertise relevant to academia, industry, public organisations and community development.

Entry Requirements
- A Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in a related field with a minimum CGPA of 2.75 from a university recognised by the UniMAP Senate.
- A related Bachelor’s Degree with a CGPA from 2.50 to below 2.75 may be considered subject to rigorous internal assessment.
- Applicants below a CGPA of 2.50 may be considered with at least five years of relevant working experience.
- Relevant work or research experience, a strong final-year project, or equivalent qualifications recognised by the UniMAP Senate may support the application.
Admission is subject to Senate approval, supervisor availability and current postgraduate regulations.
