Bachelor of Interactive Media Technology with Honours
The Bachelor of Interactive Media Technology with Honours is a multidisciplinary programme that combines creative design, digital technology and interactive media development. The programme equips students with technical, creative and problem-solving skills to develop innovative interactive media solutions for professional and industry applications.
Programme Overview
The Bachelor of Interactive Media Technology with Honours is designed to develop graduates with broad knowledge and practical skills in Interactive Media Technology. The programme integrates creative design, visual communication, digital content, programming, web development, 3D modelling, animation, multimedia production and interactive technology.
Students are exposed to Graphic Design for Interactive Media, Web Design and Development, User Experience (UX) and User Interface (UI) Design, Interactive 3D Development, Motion Graphics, Mobile Apps Development, Interactive Media Arts, Digital Media Content Management, Video Production and Digital Marketing.
The programme also emphasises creativity, innovation, communication, ethical practices, leadership and entrepreneurship. Students complete a Final Year Project and Industrial Training, providing opportunities to apply their knowledge and skills in real-world professional environments.
The programme consists of 120 credits covering common and discipline core courses, elective courses, university requirements, Work-Based Learning (WBL), Final Year Project and Industrial Training. The 12-credit Industrial Training component is conducted over 48 weeks.

Admission Requirement
STPM Graduates
Fulfil the general requirement of the University and obtained at least Grade C (NGPM 2.0) at STPM level in any one (1) of the following subjects:
Additional Mathematics, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Economics, Business Studies, Accounting, Information and Communications Technology (ICT)
— and —
Obtained at least credit (Grade C) in the Sijil Pelajaran Malaysia (SPM) level in the following subjects:
i) English, and
ii) One (1) of the following subjects:
Mathematics, Additional Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology, Engineering Drawing, Engineering Technology, Civil Engineering Studies, Mechanical Engineering Studies, Electrical & Electronic Engineering Studies, Accounting Principles, Basic Economics, Trade, Entrepreneurship Studies and Business Accounting.

Obtained at least Level 2 (Band 2) in the Malaysia University English Test (MUET) according to the validity period from January 2016.

Candidates do NOT have limb disabilities that make learning difficult.
