Doctor of Philosophy

The Doctor of Philosophy programme develops independent researchers capable of producing original and significant scholarly contributions. Candidates pursue advanced research under expert supervision across the Faculty’s business, communication, technology, social science, language and humanities disciplines.

Through rigorous inquiry, research ethics and thesis development, candidates strengthen their ability to analyse complex issues, construct new knowledge and contribute to academia, industry, policy and society.

Eligibility

Entry Requirements

  • A Master’s Degree in a related field from an institution of higher learning recognised by the UniMAP Senate.
  • Another qualification equivalent to a Master’s Degree and recognised by the UniMAP Senate.
  • A viable research proposal aligned with the chosen field and the Faculty’s supervisory expertise.
Admission is subject to Senate approval, supervisor availability and current postgraduate regulations.
